ABOUT
15 years experience in the field animation, motion graphics and content creation.
Graduated in 2007 with a BA in Digital Arts, back when everyone used those giant CRT monitors and way before GPU rendering.
Spent a few years employed at Ebuyer, where I set up their multimedia department to create product videos and branded content. That's when I really got a taste for utilising CGI and animation in replacement for filmed video content…
Ended up doing a stint as their Head of Marketing. And whilst I gained some invaluable commercial experience, seeing first-hand how creative content can boost sales etc; spreadsheets and board meetings weren't really my thing.
In 2011 I relocated to London to start my freelance journey – and what a ride it was. Working with agencies and production companies big and small; creating everything from TV commercials, explainer animations, product videos, branded content and DOOH advertisements.
Packed the bags once again in 2017 and headed back t'up north to the lovely market town of Altrincham, Greater Manchester, where I reside today.
Still creating, always learning, and getting a buzz out of creating work that competes with the big guns.
